In the beginning, there was a big bang, and the UPS man dropped the boxed up lathe on my foot. After 45 years of working for someone else, I got "retired" and found myself with way too much time on my hands, and we all know what happens with idle hands. I needed a hobby to keep me busy, and out of my wonderful wife's way, so I decided to take up wood working. I can neither draw a straight line, nor can I cut wood in a straight line, so I decided to learn how to make wood dust with a lathe. I needed something to generate dust from, and ink pens ended up being the ideal thing. An therefore, John's Would Work (because I am retired and didn't have to work) Shop was created.
The not so hard working staff
I also want to thank Bunne, my wonderful wife of 40+ years, for her support and understanding.
